New research and recovered Star League technologies have led to a technological renaissance. The Strata Institute of Science (SIS) has brought an ancient legend back to life. Humbly called the “Double Heat Sink”, this technological revolution doubles the cooling capabilities of a Battlemech heat sink and will give a spectacular advantage to the valiant defenders of the Federated Commonwealth.

The head of the Strata Institute of Science, Lt. General Elisa Hayes made a statement earlier today announcing this significant breakthroughs in battlemech technology and confirmed that production of Double Heat Sinks was beginning by the end of this month on Daedalus continent. Surely this will prove a significant economic boon to Strata and a military advantage to the entire Federated Commonwealth!

The infamous DCS Hi No Kaze has been discovered! A black name from the depths of Strata history, the ship that brought the evil pirate invaders. The very jump ship used in the Invasion of Strata has been discovered north of the mining settlement of Argyre.

Breaking news, the unrest in Argyre has escalated. Footage secured at great risk shows heavy weapons fire by insurgent forces, and the valiant defenders of liberty forced reluctantly to respond in kind.

In this SNN exclusive, we have footage of the heroic Samara Hellstrom, Hauptmann defending an emergency medical transport from terrorist fighters of the so-called Workers Resistance Militia. The transport, re-routed to the only available medical facility in the Old Quarter of Argyre, came under fire from terrorists for reasons unknown. But luckily the valiant Hauptmann of the Hellstrom’s Hellions is always on duty and foiled this evil and cowardly plot!
